Compatibility

Compatible with concrete, fibrocement, metal, bituminous felt, mastic, tar and existing bituminous coatings. Also applies to lead, slates, tiles, brick, rigid PVC, copper and zinc. Suitable for watertight plastic and metal pipes, gutters, drain openings, joint covers, ventilation grilles and corrugated sheets.

Preparation

The adhesion and durability of the coating depend on substrate preparation. The surface must be sound, clean, free of dust, debris, algae and contaminants, with no standing water. Fill cracks, crazing and cuts. Plug holes with bituminous mastic. Reattach loose bituminous felt membranes with suitable adhesive. In case of air pockets, cut open, dry, reattach and seal.
