Composition & Adhesion

EMFIMASTIC SP MIROIR is a high-viscosity single-component elastomeric sealant, formulated with silane-terminated polymer. It offers exceptional immediate adhesive grip and cures upon contact with ambient moisture or substrates to form a flexible, tear-resistant joint.

Mirror Glazing Applications

This sealant enables secure fixing of all types of silvered, mineral or organic mirrors, without altering the silvering. It compensates for surface flatness defects up to 5 mm and ensures optimal adhesion on tiles, glass, wood, PVC, painted aluminum, metals, polystyrene, natural or reconstituted stone, polyester and concrete.

Compatibility & Precautions

Preliminary tests are required on critical substrates: non-ferrous metals, painted surfaces, PVC, PMMA and ABS. Sanding or application of a bonding primer may be necessary. Product incompatible with polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon and glass fiber cloth. Not recommended for mirrors with anti-shatter film. Avoid any contact with oils, plasticizers, bitumen, asphalt and silicones.
