Technical Design

This carbide-tipped drill bit features a precise centering point, two sharp main cutting edges and two lateral scoring spurs. From Ø 25 mm diameter onwards, it adopts specific wavy edges for optimal chip evacuation. Models Ø 8-12 mm benefit from a solid carbide head with integrated spiral, while diameters from Ø 50 mm feature a hexagonal shank ensuring maximum power transmission.

Applications

Versatile tool for machining hardwoods, coated or raw chipboard panels, as well as various synthetic materials: acrylic glass, Corian®, fiberglass, laminate, PVC, polycarbonate and Trespa®. It delivers clean and precise holes without splintering or burrs.

Operating Conditions

For stationary drilling only — this restriction ensures exceptional longevity and optimal performance. For any manual drilling, the Bormax HM 1663 series is the appropriate solution.
