This Makita DHR281 rotary hammer drill harnesses the combined power of two 18V batteries from the LXT range connected in series, delivering a total voltage of 36V to its Brushless motor. The tool offers three distinct operating modes: standard drilling, hammer drilling, and chiseling, ensuring maximum versatility for different applications. Ergonomics are optimized by an anti-vibration rear handle coupled with a rubberized side handle, pivoting through 360° and equipped with an adjustable depth stop.

Protection Technologies

This 36V cordless rotary hammer incorporates the latest innovations in safety. AVT technology (Anti-Vibration Technology) drastically reduces vibrations during drilling and chiseling operations, simultaneously protecting both the tool and the operator. The Soft No Load system automatically reduces rotation speed when idling, ensuring optimal control, minimal vibration, and no hammering when no resistance is detected. The torque limiter provides active protection for the motor and user in case of sudden jamming, helping to extend the tool's lifespan.

The equipment features a 5-position dial speed control combined with an electronic trigger variable speed for fine power control. The quick-change chuck accepts SDS-Plus or keyless accessories.
