This battery compatible with the entire Makita 18V range replaces references BL1815, BL1830, BL1830B, BL1840, BL1850 and BL1850B. The BL1840B version includes a charge indicator absent on the BL1840. It works with chargers DC18RA, DC18RC, DC18RD and DC24SC. The 18V 4Ah and 5Ah Lithium-Ion batteries constitute a lightweight and powerful solution for multiple professional applications. The bidirectional communication system between battery and charger optimizes charging cycles by analyzing cell history. Thanks to the energy density of their cells, the 4Ah and 5Ah batteries display identical weight to a 3Ah while offering superior autonomy and power. They are compatible with Makita 18V machines whose battery connector features a star, a yellow color, or both.
