Cutting Technology

This hole saw features an aggressive variable 4-6 TPI tooth pattern sharpened at 10° for vigorous attack and fast cutting. The calculated inter-tooth geometry ensures optimal dust evacuation and prevents any clogging. The tooth profile allows drilling without deforming the material, while the alternate tooth set guarantees clean cuts. Compatible with recent cordless tools, it operates with reduced feed pressure.

Bi-Metal Construction

The toothed zone uses premium Matrix II high-speed steel enriched with 8% cobalt, maintaining its initial hardness even at high temperatures. The high-speed steel teeth are laser-welded to a heavily alloyed steel body. Vacuum hardening to 65 HRC at 600°C ensures maximum durability and excellent wear resistance.

Robustness & Precision

The 1.27 mm thick body eliminates warping and deformation risks. Drilling depth up to 41 mm. The thick back plate prevents hole enlargement over time, while the reinforced back minimizes vibrations. 4 pilot holes facilitate arbor positioning. The rounded back and high rotation precision (hand feed only) ensure precise manufacturing, essential for large diameters.

Versatility of Use

The diagonal slots allow easy ejection of the mandrel. Tool suitable for multiple materials: steel up to 1000 N/mm², stainless steel, acid-resistant steels, non-ferrous metals, cast iron, aluminum, wood, MDF, plasterboard, cellular concrete, sandwich materials and PVC.
