Product Overview

This single-component polyurethane-based sealant combines elastomeric flexibility with exceptional mechanical strength. Its formulation ensures optimal tear resistance and excellent stability against weather conditions. The product holds a valid SNJF certification for anodized aluminum and mortar, classified in category 25E.

Application Areas

Versatile solution for bonded assembly of construction materials and execution of waterproofing joints. Native adhesion is ensured without primer on the following substrates: wood, aluminum, painted metal, polyester, glass, PVC, concrete, terracotta, natural stone, porcelain stoneware and ceramic tiles.

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be flat, perfectly dehydrated and free of dust, grease or any contaminant. Cleaning is performed with EMFINET 683, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), acetone or SAPOCOL GR 1001. Systematically check the compatibility of solvents with treated materials. Primer application may be required depending on configurations. Metal substrates require prior sanding followed by cleaning. Complete drying after degreasing is mandatory. For concrete, mechanical stripping with a wire brush is recommended.

Application

Application by manual or pneumatic gun. Smoothing the joint using a spatula moistened with soapy water. Mandatory consumption within 24 hours after opening to prevent bulk curing. In cold conditions, keep the product at approximately 20 °C before use. During polymerization, avoid any contact with MS polymers, hybrid polyurethanes, uncured silicones, alcohols and ammonia.

Equipment Maintenance

Clean tools with EMFINET 683, methyl ethyl ketone or acetone while the sealant is not polymerized. Once cured, removal of residues requires mechanical abrasion.
